Sharon Bajer is an actress, director and playwright. A graduate of Vancouver’s Studio 58 and The Stratford Festival of Canada’s Michael Langham Directing and International Masterclass Programs, Sharon has been creating professional theatre for over 25 years.
The Keep Theatre was inspired by the beautiful space at CFRUC where her acclaimed productions Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Catalpa and To the Country were developed.
Sharon has studied and created theatre across Canada as well as in Israel, Ireland, Denmark and Italy, building a lifetime of acting, writing and directing techniques that will be the foundation of everything The Keep Theatre is built on.
Community Engagement Coordinator
RobYn Slade is a Winnipeg-based actor and improviser. She is a proud member of the musical improv company Outside Joke, who recently celebrated 15 years of producing improvised theatre in Winnipeg.
Select theatre credits include The Keep Theatre's production of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (ShanleyFest); The Gravitational Pull of Bernice Trimble, The Brink, MunschBusters!, How It Works (Prairie Theatre Exchange), New Canadian Kid, IMPROVident (Manitoba Theatre for Young People), 204FM (One Trunk Theatre), and Steel Magnolias (Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre).
As the Community Engagement Coordinator, RobYn is looking forward to the connecting audiences and artists with The Keep Theatre through workshops, cabarets, and special events.
Since graduating from the University of Winnipeg's Department for Theatre and Film with a BAH in Stage Management and Prop Making, Ali has been working actively in the both the Winnipeg theatre community, and throughout Canada.
She completed the CAEA Stage Management Apprenticeship program, and has worked as a Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager at a number of companies including RMTC, PTE, Manitoba Opera, MTYP, WJT, as well as the NAC in Ottawa.
