Christina Heather
Christina (she/her) is a queer theatre educator, performing artist, and creator focused on building authentic connections in and out of the studio. As an artist, Christina is curious about the intersection between creativity and advocacy and is particularly interested in using theatre as a tool for social change. As an educator, she seeks to foster creativity, empathy and to empower her students to develop their voices and discover their gifts. In all aspects of her life and work, Christina advocates for more equitable opportunities for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and the unique communities with whom they intersect. Prior to working as a teacher in the public school system, Christina taught theatre for many years at MTYP. Selected acting credits include: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (MTYP), The Doll House Projects (One Trunk Theatre), Sold Out (Wpg Fringe Festival), The Laramie Project, Killing Game, Seven Doors (University of Winnipeg).Christina holds a BEd and a BA Honours degree in Theatre performance from the University of Winnipeg. She is a member of the Canadian Actor's Equity Association.

There are 2 flights of stairs up to the upper hall.
